Mark Watson is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, novelist and television favourite. A member of the Cambridge Footlights alongside Tim Key and Dan Stevens, Watson has built a devoted following over twenty years through Edinburgh Fringe sell-outs, appearances on Taskmaster and Mock the Week, cult Radio 4 shows, and most recently his acting role in the Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer. In Before It Overtakes Us, Watson explores humanity's uncertain future after a chance encounter with a stranger set him pondering life's big questions — alongside equally pressing matters such as the worst word he has ever said in public and the current state of the UK sausage industry.
